Delovie linii company is the cargo transportation leader in the Russian market; it sorts and dispatches a large number of products every day. The project’s tasks were: Installing an automatic 14-route sorting line with a return line for trays and interacting with the WMS-system. Sorting center efficiency must be maximized without sacrificing sorting accuracy.

• Parcels arrive at the sorting center and are distributed to different cities;
• The operator places the parcel in a tray on the conveyor and scans its barcode;
• According to WMS data, the parcel is sorted according to one of the routes;
• When the operator has sorted the parcel, he places the tray on the return line.
