Design and implementation of a system for goods’ weight and size determination, with the option to automatically scan barcodes on the parcels’ top or side. Development and assembly of control cabinets.

Developing and implementing a conveyor control system at the Major Express warehouse, with the option to automatically determine the dimensions of goods and their weight. Providing automatic barcode reading. Installing an operator’s workstation with a monitor in the system’s vicinity.

• The operator puts the parcel onto the conveyor;
• The parcel passes through the measuring system, its dimensions and weight are determined, the barcode is automatically read, all data is entered into the local database;
• The data is transferred to the WMS system;
• The parcel is sent to the main conveyor;
• Should there occur a barcode reading error, the parcel is rejected and the operator manually reads the departure code;
• The operating modes change is carried out by the operator via a computer with a monitor and a control system located in the vicinity of the system.
